What Is Rako?

Rako can be used to control lights, curtains and blinds.

The extensive Rako portfolio consists of a range of dimmers, relays and switches which can be controlled by a selection of wall mounted control plates, remote controls and even computer software. There are limitless posibilities with Rako, and to boot the control hardware is available in a range of extremely stylish finishes. Do you require a custom control plate? Not a problem, we'll get one made for you.

Rako control devices send signals to the dimmers, switches and relays over RF (Radio Frequency) thus further enhancing the application possibilities of this solution. Rako modules simply wire in-line with the lighting circuit and can be located in ceiling voids and fitted through a standard down-light cut out. Modules can also be wired in-line and plugged into your nearest socket. This makes Rako perfect for a 'retro fit' application, whilst the range of 'rack mounted' hardware will be the choice for new builds and renovations.

The intuitive RASOFT software allows configuration and programming of a system without wires. Program a whole home, creating new rooms as you go, setting scenes and maybe changing fade rates. Many advanced features are also available, including room grouping to facilitate master controllers.
